Loni Efron is an archivist, gallerist, curator, editor and software designer.  Loni has been at the helm of her consulting firm, Ilon and Company, she founded in 1996.  Working with the top photographers and professionals in the industry Loni guides her clients through archiving, editing and all types post - production requirements.  This is always coupled with current technological solutions including iArchive, a database solution she created and designed.  As a collector and curator and a lover of Harlem, Loni opened ilon Art Gallery in 2014, a boutique photography gallery and art advisory.  The gallery exhibits 20th century and contemporary photography from the favorites to the emerging photographer, located in the heart of historical Harlem, New York City.

Loni’s story began back in the early 90’s while she started her career as a black and white printer and archivist for Annie Leibovitz.  Branching out, she opened Ilon and Company working with the industry’s top photographers and artists. Her 2nd client, David LaChapelle was soon followed by Steven Klein, Joel Meyerowitz and The Robert Mapplethorpe Foundation.  As the years went on the list continues to include the “greats” such as the Starn Brothers, Richard Gere, Alfred Wertheimer, Gilles Peress, Michel Comte, and Philipe Halsman and still continues to grow with Pamela Hansen, Bob Gruen and Roxanne Lowitt.  Loni Efron continues to archive, organize and monetize photographer’s archives which include images, physical assets and any other item that is in an artists’ collection.

Loni is a certified Filemaker consultant and she designs custom database solutions in Filemaker.  Her database solutions are custom designed to complement the existing archives or to organize and monetize her clients’ businesses.  You will find solutions Loni has created throughout most of her clients offices and studios.  As Loni wanted to reach every day working photographers and industry professionals Loni created four "out of the box” solutions:  iArchive, iGallery, iCollection, iManage and iInventory. These solutions are for photographers, artists, galleries, collectors, agents, producers, prop houses, closets and holders of large inventories (respectively) to help archive, organize and monetize their businesses at a fraction of the cost of a custom solution.  These solutions can also all be customized.  However, they are immediately ready to install.

Loni Efron is also a curator and editor.  She has worked on many books and exhibitions with artists’ Annie Leibovitz, David LaChapelle, Mark Seliger and Keith Richards.  Loni Efron has been a photo editor for Keith Richards for over 15 years and was the photo editor on Life, his award winning autobiography.  Loni was a contributing editor to Ladies and Gentleman...the Rolling Stones by Taschen.  She has worked on numerous other books and has gained a niche in musicians’ autobiographies.  Over the years, she has curated many gallery and museum exhibitions.  She organized a world tour of In My Stairwell with Mark Seliger for six years.  She helped him open 401 Projects, a collaborative art gallery working on shows with artists such as Eikoe Hosoe and Albert Watson.

Loni has also curated many websites for various photographers over the years.

In 2014, Loni opened ilon Art Gallery and art advisory in Harlem.  Her current show "From the Archives" mixes her two loves- the archiving and the gallery.  The group show includes Ben Baker, Gregg Delman, Drew Doggett, Michele Dragonetti, Flo Fox, Leonard Freed, Claude Gassian, Lynn Gilbert,
